Website Design for Naz Beheshti
(June- July 2017)
When I was interning at Spark DSG, I was given two related projects to work on for Naz Beheshti, the chief executive officer of her own corporate wellness company, Prananaz Inc. Naz requested to have two websites to be designed, one is Naz’s own marketing site and the other is the Prananaz Inc. site. Both projects were handed to me as an individual project with a supervisor to oversee and help support me.
This post focuses on the marketing website design, and please visit here for the Prananaz Inc. site redesign.
For Naz’s marketing site she requested a sophisticated yet professional looking site that her audience can easily learn about her story, buy her book, and connect with her for services. The general layout design followed the template of Prananaz Inc. site with changes in color, font and some graphics. She requested the primary color of the site to be the same navy blue as in her logo. From that, I explored some color combination choices and decided to use a cool-toned light grey, a dark navy blue, white, and some pops of brighter blues to accompany the main color. With the content provided by Naz, I made a single page design and used blocks of white, grey and blue to separate each section. The blog and contact pages stayed pretty much same as in the Prananaz Inc. site with only the color alteration and some small design adjustments.
The finished Sketch file was then transferred onto Zeplin and shared with Naz’s developer for development.
The live site can be accessed at nazbeheshti.com.
